Before you start using the tester, connect the positive pole of the battery to the red clamp of the device, and the negative pole to the black clamp. How to check the battery status:
Connect the positive pole of the battery to the red clip of the tester and the negative pole to the black clip. Turn on the headlights for one to two minutes and then turn them off. Disconnect the tester clamps for ten minutes and reconnect. After that, one of the three LEDs should light up: green FULL - the battery is fully charged, yellow MIDDLE - the battery is half discharged, red LOW - the charge level is low, the battery is less than half charged.
How to analyze the starting ability of a battery:
Fully charge the battery before performing this test. Remove the contact of the ignition coil and only then connect the tester. Insert the ignition key and try to start the engine. The engine will not start and the ignition will be interrupted. If the green OK LED turns on, your battery is in excellent condition. If not everything is in order with the starter, the LED will not light up, despite the fact that the battery is fully charged. Attention! Do not run the engine for more than two to three seconds, otherwise you risk damaging the accelerator.
