Panda Binoculars
Panda 20x50 review - binoculars that surprised ... in a bad way.
Hello everyone. Today is an overview of the binoculars from the Panda company. The name is quite original, though I doubt that it has anything to do with binoculars :). Nevertheless, in the Chinese online stores, in the binoculars section, these "Pandas" are quite often found, so I decided to take and try this miracle in practice. The review will not be very large, but I think it will help decide whether to spend so much money on this panda or not.
Brief characteristics of binoculars:
- Objective diameter: 20 X 50
- Field of view: 127 / 1000m
- Glass: tempered with antireflection
- Size: 195 × 165 × 55mm
- Weight: 1046 grams
I'll start with the box, as always. And she, to put it mildly, does not really correspond to the product. It is completely in Chinese, the printing (if you close your eyes to the design) leaves much to be desired, and the box itself is wrapped in an uneven layer of adhesive tape. Although the latter was most likely done in a store. In general, such a box simply does not match the $ 50 price tag. True, it sh Panda Binoculars ould be said that there are photographs of this binoculars in another box on the Internet. Maybe they are different for each market, I don't know.
There is a case inside the box:
In general, there are no accessories other than this very case. There is only a small piece of Chinese instruction, some kind of label and a small rag.
As for the cover, I wouldn't use it. The material is no more than 2mm thick and looks more like paper than anything else. The carrying strap is even worse.
Well, okay, with these boxes, covers ... let's get down to the most important thing - binoculars. At first impression, nothing bad can be said - it looks the same as in the pictures :)
But if you look closely, you immediately notice the rather low quality of both plastic and assembly in general. One part of the eyepiece was a little worn, and there are small jambs all over the body. The plastic itself and rubber areas are very dusty and easily damaged - even a fingernail can leave a scratch. Therefore, after the first use in nature, binoculars will almost certainly lose their presentation, if, of course, you use them and not just carry them with you.
